For people who suffer from tinnitus, the persistent ringing, buzzing, or whistling in their ears can be unpleasant and even lead to severe problems like depression or anxiety.
Tinnitus affects around 300 million people worldwide – a figure which is only going to get larger, according to a new study.
A group of researchers in Canada has found young people are increasingly suffering from persistent noises in their ears that typically impact those over 50.
